Snakebite is a serious health issue that affects many people, especially in rural areas. It can cause various disabilities, ranging from physical to mental, and can significantly impact a person’s quality of life. Physical disabilities include loss of limb function, paralysis, and even death. Mental disabilities may include depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
STUDY GOALS
The aim of this study is to assess the prevalence of disabilities in the population living in the Amazon region and evaluate the impact of physical and mental sequelae on the lives of these populations
